Our Story
Lepai® began in 2007 when a group of Chinese audio engineers sought to address a lack of decent, affordable mini and home amplifiers. Major brands offered cheap amps with subpar sound, while better-sounding options came saddled with exorbitant price tags.
Armed with years of combined engineering experience, our founders set out to buck this trend. Through efficient design and direct manufacturing, they succeeded in bringing a line of surprisingly capable low-cost amplifiers to the mass market.
We started out serving customers in China and quickly expanded worldwide through online marketplaces. What began as a passion project rooted in a commitment to value became a globally recognized budget audio brand.
